I started Lerer Ventures (now doing business as Lerer Hippeau) with Kenny and Ben in 2009. We raised our first $8.5 Million that year, and 9 years later, with almost $1 Billion AUM, Lerer Hippeau is the leading seed stage venture capital firm in NYC. I was a General Partner in our first four funds, and recently stepped back from day to day there (but remain a Special Partner and obviously still love them.  You should absolutely talk to them if you are raising a seed round).
